This aquarium is part of the New Jersey Academy of Aquatic Sciences distance learning classroom. The classroom is located at the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey. The marine aquarium is approximately 150 gallons and it is filled with salt water fish, corals, and live rock.
A marine aquarium requires more stringent water quality monitoring because the aquarium system is more fragile. There are also more water quality parameters that should be tested as compared to a freshwater aquarium. Through this website, Rowan University students monitor and post live data of the water parameters and live video feed of the aquarium that can be used in conjunction with activities posted on this page.
