What you see in the video is a new robotic fish being made by engineering students at Rowan University. It moves just like a fish does, except it is made of motors and fins attached to an aluminum backbone. It is going to be used to explore places that regular robots and humans cannot reach. Right now it is controlled just like an RC car, but in the future it will swim on its own. One day it will even be able to take water samples and help water systems stay safe for all of the creatures that live there.
