Welcome to the web page for Lab Techniques. All topics of interest can be accessed via the left frame, which contains links to the syllabus and grades, as well as weekly breakdowns of material to be covered in the lectures/workshops/homework.

Important Class Announcements:

  • May 5th:
    Final grades are posted, see the grades page for more info. I'll be adding a little more supplemental material to the site just to finalize it in case I ever do this again, but since your grades are all done it won't really effect you too much. :) If you have any questions feel free to contact me personally. If you would like a copy of your Exam (I'll be keeping all the originals) sent to you please send a self addressed, stamped envelope to: Mark Sedlock, Network and System Services, Rowan University, Glassboro N.J., 08028 - or drop it off at my office in Memorial. Thanks to all for making this a really interesting semester.
  • April 22nd:
    Grades for everything up through assignment 11 (the final HW assignment) are up on the grades page. Tonight's class will consist of Review for the final next week which will be proctored by Dr. Andrea Lobo (lobo@elvis.rowan.edu) next Thursday night at 6:30. There will be no late exams. We will be holding class at our scheduled time Final's week (6:30 Thursday night in room 325, the class will last for two (2) hours.) Final grades will be available by then (online + in class) and we can review questions about the final exam.
  • April 6th:
    Grades for everything up through assignment 9 are complete and posted (sorry for the delay). I have gone back and graded the assignment from everyone who was late for one reason or another. If you believe that you handed in an assignment and the grade isn't posted for it mail me and notify me ASAP. I'll do my best to have the review questions for the final posted by Next week's class.
  • March 30th:
    Grades for the web page assignment are done and will be posted by Class Thursday. I will be out of town on the 29th, so class will be cancelled. Tha will leave us with four classes, the 1st, 8th, 15th, and the 22nd. The 22nd will be reserved for review for the final. Make sure you bring any questions you have to class on the 22nd.
  • February 23rd:
    Grades up through assignment 4 have been posted, please mail me with any discrepencies. Assignment 5 has been graded for people who have submitted it on or before today (Feb 23). No more grades will be posted before the Exam Thursday. Good luck!
  • February 17th:
    The syllabus has been updated to reflect the changes presented in class last week. The material for week5 is online. Remember, we have a test next week!
  • February 3rd:
    Grades from Workshop/Homework 2 will be posted over the weekend. The material to be covered in week 3 is posted. There will most likely be a few more questions added to the workshop before class time.
  • January 27th:
    Grades from Workshop 1 were posted last night and can be accessed on the 'grades' web page. Also, the material to be covered during Week 2 will be posted by the end of the night.
  • January 14th:
    Due to the inclimate weather, the University has cancelled all classes after 4:30p.m. We will have to pick up the pace over the next few weeks to make up for this missed time.
