Intro to Programming Using Robots: Labs and Homeworks
Due Thursday, January 22nd:
- Notecard with your picture on it on one side and
name on the other side
Due Tuesday, January 27th:
- Read Chapter 1 of the textbook
- Write a program in Myro to make your robot move in the shape
of a square
- If you haven't done so already, buy a set of spare batteries for
your robot
Due Thursday, January 29th:
- Make a video of your robot moving in the shape of a square
- For a small amount of extra credit, put your video on
youtube and email me a link to the url so I can watch it (note:
I'll be giving extra credit for all video labs uploaded to
youtube, so if you do it consistently you will get some decent extra credit.)
Due Tuesday, February 3rd:
- Read Chapter 2
- Create a robot "dance" that keeps the robot in an approximately 1 meter x 1 meter square. Your
dance should have between 5 and 15 lines of code.

- Video your dance
- For extra credit, upload your dance to youtube
- By 5pm Monday, either email me your youtube URL or email me your video.

Class work for Thursday 3/5/09
- If you haven't finished the mad libs project above, work on that first.
- If you've finished mad libs, then start working your way through
Chapter 5of our textbook. When it shows you code, you should type it in and try it out.
When it says "do this" you should do it. You MUST work in class or on your own through page 113. You are encouraged to finish the chapter.
