This list is dedicated to the discussion of practical Christian living. Contributions reflect the wide range of interests, experiences, and scholarly backgrounds of members who have made a commitment to the Christian faith, along with others who are investigating this religion with sincere curiosity. The members of Christia welcome all people to join these discussions and share their own understanding of this faith, while adhering to the following guidelines:
- Posts should not be longer than 200 lines, nor should multiple 200-line pieces be posted in rapid succession. Some members of this list have limited disk space and long postings can cause them serious problems. A library has been dedicated for the purpose of storing large documents which can be retrieved at the request of members. To visit the library, click here. If you have any questions, send e-mail to Darren Provine (provine@rowan.edu).
- Posts should be respectful of other people's opinions and personal situations.
- Posts about Christian denominational issues should be informative or inquiring in nature.
These rules are not meant to suppress good, honest, and healthy discussions and questions. Rather, they are here to promote harmony and unity among all Christians. If a discussion deviates outside one or more of these guidelines then the parties involved should move that discussion off this list.
By your subscription to Christia, you accept the above description and guidelines for participation. There are many other mailing lists and newsgroups for discussions of beliefs & ideologies in general, including Christianity. With this in mind, allow me to welcome you to a list that will contain individual understandings and expressions of scripture, doctrines, praise, devotions, prayer requests, and other relevant topics.
If you need assistance with your subscription to the list, have problems sending messages, or have questions regarding the operation of Christia, please feel free to contact the listowner.
