Certain highly volatile topics and issues have been discussed on Christia so often, and so vehemently, that a posting on these subjects is likely to be met with annoyance even by those listmembers who agree completely with your point of view.
However, as Christians we cannot go through life avoiding controversial subjects. And how we handle ourselves in an argument can be as important as what we actually say. What better place to practice "disagreeing agreeably" than with our brothers and sisters? If we can't even do that, how can we ever expect to persuade unbelievers of anything?
