This table is from Elias et al. (1982, Astron. J., 87, 1029). Review this paper before using this table. Additional data and remarks concerning some of the standards are available in this paper. 2. Avoid using highly reddened standards since only a preliminary color transformation from Elias' photometric system to that of the IRTF has been obtained for these stars. These stars are useful, however, as secondary standards and should always be measured relative to the early-type unreddened standards. 3. "q" is the quality of the estimated magnitude uncertainty as follows: K, J-K, H-K K-L a+ <0.005 <0.007 a <0.007 <0.010 b <0.010 <0.015 c <0.015 <0.020 4. Listed positions are epoch and equinox 1950 and are intended for planning purposes only. Many stars, especially the Gl stars, have high proper motions, most of which are given in Elias et al. (1982). THE COORDINATES AND PROPER MOTIONS OF THESE STARS ARE KNOWN BY THE IRTF TELESCOPE (XSTARCAT). YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW THESE COORDINATES AT THE TELESCOPE TO OBSERVE THESE STARS!
