July 23rd, 2009

I worked on various features for the Request Details screen, but I spent most of today focusing on the changes tab functionality. I
also met with Jim, Dave, and Jacob to discuss the progress made so far on this page. It was decided that these changes need more time and
that the requirements were never clear. Donna, who is a Project Manager, clearly outlined the deliverables for the 2.0 release.

I met with Jacob to go over the PTS 2.0 Deliverables document. I spent the rest of the day working on the changes tab functionality.
What is difficult about this feature is that the user should be able to click on a delta symbol next to a field on the details tab. By clicking
on the symbol, it should change the tab selection to the changes tab and query the database for all changes related to the specified field.
All of this coding is client side, which means JavaScript.

Weekly Review

I was very busy this week with implementing new features for release 2.0 of the Project Tracking System. It felt good to have some pressure
and to be challenged by some new things. A lot of the coding was client side, so that created a lot of problems along the way. Dave is
particular in the way he wants things to look from a style standpoint, so that has created a lot of style sheet problems that were
difficult to resolve. Overall, things are going well and this site should be done by the end of business Wednesday.
